A Quick Tour

With the move and the holidays, things have been really busy lately, but we thought we'd post some pictures of our new place for your enjoyment and education.

Thanks to Beth's amazing organizational skills, we are completely unpacked and now are just trying out some different arrangements, but these pictures are of our home just before we moved in.

Enjoy!

Beth had these color-coded signs on the wall as you entered the house - each box had a colored sticker on it.

Each one of the rooms had a color-coded poster on it. Which is one of the main reasons the move went so smoothly.

Kitchen - The island in the middle is mobile.

Living Room - Complete with couches, a father and a father-in-law.

The Family Room - With the built-in entertainment center.

Play Room - It is MUCH messier now.

Stairs Leading Upstairs - The towels were to keep the new carpet clean during the move.

The Kids Bathroom - This house has three full bathrooms.

Master Bedroom - Free of airplane and helicopter noises.

Master Bathroom - Small, but it's our own. The kids' toys are in the other one.

Kids Bedroom - Kaylee gets the port-a-crib, Logan gets the laundry basket.

Craft Room - STARcraft room, more like it! Boo-yah!

Front of the House - Our door is always open. . .unless it's closed.

Backyard - There's a sandpit, a fish pond, and a playground.

The Fish Pond - It's beautiful, but we may have to drain it with small kids playing in the backyard. It'll be our "rock quarry."

Back of the House - I don't really know what that half-built shed is all about.
So, there you go - that's the beginning of the new chapter in the Hilton story - life OUT of the airport.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible - we really appreciate all of your help!

A little more info

Sorry about the lack of info.

The house is in Roy (southwest of Ogden).  I wish I could post more pictures, but the one from the last post is the only one I have.  It was taken by our Realtor on her cell phone.  She sent it to me telling me I had to see it that day.  Glad I listened!

The sellers were always home when we went through it (3 times for me and once for Joel), so it would have been awkward to pull out a camera.  The sellers/owners usually shouldn't be home when a house is being shown, but this was a different situation and it actually worked to our advantage (even though it was a bit awkward).  As a result of meeting us and liking us (I credit the kids for that one) they accepted our offer even though it was quite a bit less than they wanted.

It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  I'll try to get pictures up as soon as I can (though don't expect that to be too soon... we won't have internet for a bit).  We're so excited!
