My husband and I agree sometimes :)

I've refrained from sharing my opinions about the Twilight series in the past, but Joel has posted about it on his blog, so I'll let my feelings be known too.

I agree with him. For different reasons than the ones he states, but I still agree.

So I read Joel's post and had to agree. I have not read the last book and don't want to, but I am kind of curious to see what happens. Maybe one day....
Anyway, did you know you won the pay it forward on my blog? Yay!

I read Joel's post and I must say I was refreshed by his point of view. Not that I agreed with it, but it was kind of fun hearing from someone who whole heartedly disliked these books. I still think they are fun books to read (and I have read everyone multiple times) and yet still have no desire to get into Danielle Steele. :)

I also read his blog, and can see his point of view in regards to the romance part of it.. Just that they talked quite a bit about it... I still liked the books, I thought it was a fun way to change the perceptions of what a vampire is. I can't wait for the movie, I just like to see what they do vs what I pictured in my head when reading it.

Read his blog, and I thought he backed up his opinions really well. In fact, I think every point he made was valid. BUT that isn't to say I didn't like the books myself. While I don't endorse the books, especially the last one, for teens...I found all of the books an entertaining read. That last book could have definitely used some editing...I pretty much skimmed the entire book, BUT I still enjoyed the story line. She wrapped it up in a package that was almost too neat and convenient, but hey- who likes loose ends anyways. It is fiction, right? I love happily-ever-afters.
